In memory of a dear dear friend, Don. Friend of my parents originally - I always met him when I came to visit them - often down at the Club but he would pop in often... then on his visit to Canada I got to know him better. When I came to visit parents Don would take me out for a pub lunch then call at the charity shop as a special treat :))) He was round for a sherry when I left just 2 weeks before my mum died - so I saw them together sipping away as I left for Canada. What good fortune that when we returned to Glenfield Don was a mainstay here at the bungalow. Don's perky face would pop up at the kitchen window as he suggested lunch or dinner together... inviting us & Mex/Pedro to his bungalow to enjoy a full roast. Always chirpy, always up for it, always spoiling us... We miss you Don - very much XXX
