Auntie Flo you will be missed
Mr and Mrs Erika and Ady Allen
Florrie was my late mother's near neighbour and she was so kind to my mother which I shall never forget. She used to check that her milk was taken in and the curtains drawn back in the morning but also visited her every day so that she had someone to talk to. As we lived ninety miles away, John and I could only visit every three/four weeks so it was such a relief to know that Florrie was keeping an eye on her and would let us know if there was a problem. Even when my mother went into a care home for nearly four years, Florrie visited her every week even though it wasn't easy for her as it involved two bus journeys. She was a true friend to her. We have continued to visit Florrie since my mother died when we came back to Leicestershire and will miss her. She was a very special person that we have been privileged to know.
